NEET Registration

The NEET 2025 application process began on February 7, 2025, and concluded on March 7, 2025, as per the schedule announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Unlike previous years, NTA did not extend the deadline or reopen the application window. A correction facility was provided from March 9 to March 11, 2025, allowing candidates to make necessary edits to their application forms.

NTA had issued advisories urging candidates to complete the registration and application process within the stipulated deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

This year, 22,76,069 registrations were received for NEET 2025. Out of these, 22,09,318 candidates appeared for the exam, and 12,36,531 candidates successfully qualified. Compared to the previous year, both the total number of applicants and test-takers witnessed a decline.

The NEET 2025 exam was conducted on May 4, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM, and the result was announced on June 14, 2025.

Candidates had to visit the official NEET website to register, fill out the application form, upload required documents, and pay the application fee to complete the process.

– Enter basic details (Name, Parent’s Name, DOB, Contact Details)
– Set Password
– Note down Application Number

Select Exam City Preferences
Step 4: Upload DocumentsUpload scanned copies as per specifications:
– Passport-size Photo (10-200 kb, JPG)
– Postcard-size Photo (50-300 kb, JPG)
– Signature (4-30 kb, JPG)
– Thumb Impression (10-50 kb, JPG)
– Category/PwD Certificate (PDF)
Step 5: Pay Application Fee

Pay fee online via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI

General: ₹1,700
General-EWS/OBC-NCL: ₹1,600
SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: ₹1,000

Step 6: Download ConfirmationDownload and print the Confirmation Page after successful fee payment.
Keep multiple copies for future use.

NEET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Age • Minimum 17 years as of December 31, 2025 (Born on or before December 31, 2008)
• No upper age limit
Educational Qualification Passed or appearing in Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English from a recognized board
Minimum Qualifying Marks • General/GEN‑EWS: 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB)
• SC/ST/OBC‑NCL: 40%
• PwD: 45%
Number of Attempts Unlimited (No cap on attempts)
Nationality Indian Citizens, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply

Note: Students appearing for Class 12 exams in 2025 are also eligible to apply, provided they meet all other eligibility requirements at the time of admission.
